Help us all free our minds by freeing our old books for everybody to read and use. The Atlantic has an article we all should read about the modern digital library of Alexandria that we should all have free access to, but don't becomes of little evils.
Here at Penn State, we have a special science fiction library. Nobody is allowed to check out the books from our science fiction library. And since the library already HAS copies of these books, the circulation desk has no interest in buying it's own copies. And so, people at Penn State can not check out classic science fiction textbooks.
I note now, though, that our Penn State Beaver branch campus has it's own collection.
